Is Righteousness God's Law?

The title I've chosen may stir our own opinion about righteousness? In all generations there have been those who want to be righteous.

We are sometimes being manipulated by our own thinking, we may unknowingly hurt other people by our own words and deceit. Matt. 7:1, "Judge not that ye be not judged."  To have a good, closer relationship to each other is to understand, not under estimate each other's feeling, also not judging the person's appearance but to look inside the heart.  We should understand one's shortcomings, and put our shoes in their shoes, as an old saying goes. Romans 3:10, "There is none righteous, no, not one."  This verse is quite difficult to comprehend as we may be aware that all religions around the world seek for righteousness, even in politics, and social security of people, they tend to fight each other only for justification of righteousness, the reason why there's a Law because no one is above that except God Himself.  Therefore when we are in Christ Jesus, "the law of the Spirit of life makes us free from sin and death", Romans 8:2. "That the righteousness of the Law might be fulfilled in us who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit", Romans 8:4.  Romans 10:4 "For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone that believes."

As we go on in our spiritual life, no matter how rough the road is, we must continue to search our souls until finally we may find Gods Law in our hearts.  Gal. 5:14, "For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

I read in a book that in the middle of the word "LIFE" is an "IF".  Fulfilment is for everyone if we have a vision of Faith, Hope and Love, but in the end, "the greatest of these is Love" (1 Cor.13:13).

And lastly, as we struggle on with our own spirituality may we remember 2 Peter 3:13, "Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness."
