AFGHANISTAN
This week we baptized HUSSEIN. Our brother has been in hiding from the Taliban for months, and is in a really difficult situation. Twice the baptism had to be postponed from fear of "visitors". But eventually we found a time when he was able to confess his faith to us in peace, and then go to a bath room, undress and solemnly baptize himself in front of us. Do pray for him and many like him in Afghanistan, who face not only persecution from the Taliban but also a very difficult economic situation especially during this Winter.
AUSTRALIA
Peter and Hilary Osborne are now getting ready to go on their drive around Australia preaching. They have contacted many FIFO [fly in fly out] miners' accomodations in remote areas and are producing business cards advertising the Bible Companion app which are specially aimed at miners. Sister Rose Stone has also assisted them in producing a general business card aimed at Australia specifically. You can download the print ready artwork from

IRAN
The Gospel continues to spread amongst Iranians in Iran and worldwide; this week we baptized HAMID online.
MALI
Mali and Burkina Faso are some of the world's poorest countries, and currently embattled with Islamic extremists, coups and instability. Despite that, and probably because of it, many are downloading the French Bible Companion app and using it well. We were happy to baptize online JOSEPH one evening outside his hut in the pitch black darkness of rural Mali. It really is amazing how the Gospel is spreading, and how somehow internet and cell phones are becoming so ubiquitous- surely raised up by the Lord to get His message literally "into all the world".
We have contacted our brethren in Burkina Faso after the recent coup, and they say things are generally calm at least in the capital Ouagadougou.
UK
This week we were able to baptize brothers Y and I. Brother Y is in a real bad situation, he is outside the welfare system in the UK and his family are persecuted back in Iran because of his faith. He showed pictures on his phone of his sister with a broken nose and black eyes after being attached, and his brother with whipping marks on his back. Our brother has two little girls, who have been thrown out of school because he is classified as a heretic. He lives in a squalid room. We gave him cash and food, but his joy at being baptized was just wonderful. He wrote about it in a text message afterwards... such joy at conversion reflects the legitimacy of it:
