Our Mission, Vision and Values

· We are compelled by love – we preach the Gospel because “Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all”. (2 Corinthians 5:14). All of Scripture hangs on the commandment to love (Matthew 22:36-40), and it therefore the foundation of all we do.

· We are responding to the Great Commission to preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Jesus said “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation” (Mark 16:15), “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20) and “this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14).

· We teach the Commandments of Christ as core doctrine - the teachings of Jesus Christ are central to the Gospel and we therefore teach Kingdom-ethics as core doctrine. These ethics are summarized in the attached summary of Scriptural Guidelines for Christian Living.

· We teach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and the Name of Jesus Christ which is summarised in the Christadelphian statements of faith.
