From Natural to Supernatural

Some people do not understand the nature of Jesus when he was born. Some claim that he was supernatural when he was born. Many Trinitarians believe this. Let us examine some of the Bible passages and find out how Jesus was born.

In Luke 1:34,35, the holy spirit power formed Jesus in Mary’s womb. The Bible goes on to say in Hebrews 2:14: “Since the children have flesh and blood, he too, shared in their humanity”. Jesus had human nature with flesh and blood.

Jesus became supernatural after he was resurrected from the dead. “On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus stood among them”(John 20:19,20). The doors were locked but Jesus passed through the locked doors.

The apostle Paul explains how the body of Jesus was before, and how it became after, resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:42-44). So it will be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable and ultimately it will be raised imperishable (1 Corinthians 15:46). The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. The same applies to those who will be resurrected and granted eternal life.
