MUMBAI
We still remember Bro. D. Lameonster’s visit to Mumbai many years back. We are only a small group of five baptised Christadelphians in Mumbai now; two Brothers have gone for better prospects. We all are fine and keep in good health by the grace of God. We would like to continue receiving Gospel News and other magazines and literature, God willing. May the Lord help your efforts to encourage people like us in spiritual growth.

TAMIL NADU
Thank you for Gospel News which gives me interesting reading and also the notes on the signs of the times, all of which things are bound to happen in these last days prior to our Lord’s return to the earth. At the time of writing my State of Tamil Nadu is undergoing incessant rainfall resulting in heavy losses in men and materials. The newspapers are full of stories of disruption of roads and washed away houses filled with water, with people having to flee to safer places. There is a fear of an epidemic breaking out. We are able to witness what the Bible predicts as chaos of intolerable troubles beyond man’s control, prior to our Lord’s return to this earth. Last year alone three major devastations took place: Tsunami in S.E. Asia, severe earthquake in North Pakistan and Katrina in the USA. These catastrophes will be more frequent in years to come, but our Lord’s warnings are not heeded by this present wicked world. I thank God for His mercy in keeping me in the fellowship of Bible truth believers. May God bless you as you bring more people to the Truth of the Bible. Hearing Aids. I note you are collecting surplus aids to help African brethren. Please register my name also, for I am losing my hearing, in fact I have lost 40% so that I can’t catch properly the talk at the Bible Truth Camps and Sunday exhortations. I hope you will be able to oblige me. Please pray for us.

MANIPUR
It is a joy to be able to write to you. I am a young man of 32 years. I hold B. Th. Degree in the year 2001 and continued my study for B.D. Degree, but I was not allowed to sit in the final examination for not clearing the Course fees and other due amount on my account. Since then, I started studying the Christadelphian faith and beliefs. I came to Christadelphians by listening to ‘Bible Truth’ broadcast aired every Wednesday and Saturday morning via Radio Sri Lanka. Since then I have become deeply rooted in the Christadelphian beliefs and practices. I had completed many Christadelphian Bible Correspondence Courses via Bangalore and Hyderabad Christadelphians, plus the ‘Bible Basics’ course. I am actually the first Christadelphian in Imphal and have never found any meeting or ecclesia here. I wish to ultimately open a Christadelphian ecclesia for believers in Manipur. I have invested many prayers regarding my needs. We need Bibles and other Christadelphian reference materials. Sow your seed in the ground of Manipur so that many brothers and sisters may grow in the Christadelphian garden in Imphal.

news from nepal

I am talking to another man about Jesus and he even said he is interested in baptism. Like me he is not living in Nepal because of problems. Thank you for taking care for me in so many ways.

BANGUI
When a child is in Sunday School, prayerfully there is progress towards, and into, the ecclesia. Our teachers are co-workers with God. May we all, in God’s mercy, be together in the Kingdom – with our children.

news from vietnam

The world-wide distribution of Bible Basics in 56 different Languages continues. One area that has generated a lot of interest and a number of converts is placing it in local Public Libraries. Recently we placed one hundred copies of the Vietnamese translation in the Public Libraries of Vietnam; it seems there is a growing interest there in Christianity. The following is one of the letters of thanks:

“We have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of a copy of Bible Basics. This book will be treated professionally and will go into public service in the shortest time. It will be certainly welcomed by our readers.

We hope that our Library will always have your support in the future. Thank you and warm regards for your effective co-operation”.

We are happy to give copies of Bible Basics to any than can place them in Public Libraries or to accept donations towards doing this.
